A hard shot hit low and fast, just above the net.

A hard shot hit low and fast, just above the net (Wikipedia, pickleball.com). It is used when you hit from the baseline or the transition zone, or when a short ball bounces up high (pickleball.com). When the opponents are at the non-volley zone line (kitchen line), it is said to be easy for them to volley it back hard (pickleball.com).
