Let
Replaying a rally when something gets in the way. Today, a serve that touches the net is no longer a let.
Replaying a rally when something gets in the way (pickleball.com). The rulebook does not use the word "let"; it calls a do-over a "replay" (Section 2, Definitions). For example, when a ball rolls in from the next court, it is a hinder and the rally is replayed (Section 2, Definitions, 9.C.2).
Service lets were removed in the 2021 rule change (Pickleheads). Even if the serve touches the net, play goes on as long as it lands in the correct service court (7.E, Serve diagonally).
How to read the sources: numbers like (8.F.4) are rulebook sections, and links are outside sources. An "Author's note" is the author's personal experience, not an official rule.
